Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://blueridgeminisplitpros.com (the “Site”) and the ductless mini split installation and related HVAC services provided by Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros (“Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) throughout Southwest Virginia and surrounding areas. By using the Site, requesting an estimate, or engaging us for service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.

Estimates

Estimates requested through the Site are based on the information you provide and, in most cases, a subsequent in-home or on-site evaluation. Estimates are not final invoices, guarantees of price, or binding contracts — they are subject to change once we can confirm actual site conditions, equipment availability, and the scope of work. A final price is confirmed in writing before installation begins.

Scheduling

Appointments for estimates, evaluations, and installations may be scheduled through the Site’s forms, an online calendar booking tool, or by phone. We will confirm scheduled appointments by email or text message and provide an estimated arrival window. Actual arrival times may vary due to weather, prior jobs running long, or other factors outside our control; we will do our best to notify you promptly if a scheduled time needs to change.

Customer Responsibilities

To help us provide an accurate estimate and complete work safely and efficiently, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information and a truthful description of your property and project;
  • Disclose known conditions relevant to the work, such as electrical capacity, prior HVAC issues, or structural concerns;
  • Provide safe, reasonable access to the work area for scheduled appointments, and secure pets during our visit;
  • Obtain any necessary permission from a landlord, homeowners’ association, or property owner before work begins, if you are not the sole owner of the property; and
  • Be present, or have an authorized adult present, for scheduled evaluations and installation work.

Payments

Payment terms — including accepted payment methods, amounts due, and payment timing — are provided in your written estimate or invoice. Unless other arrangements are agreed to in writing, payment in full is due upon completion of the work. Late or unpaid balances may be subject to additional collection costs permitted by law.

Deposits (if applicable)

Some projects — particularly larger or custom installations — may require a deposit before we schedule or order equipment. If a deposit is required for your project, the amount, purpose, and refund terms will be disclosed in your written estimate before you are asked to pay it. Not all projects require a deposit.

Financing

Financing options may be available for qualified customers through independent, third-party financing partners. Financing applications, terms, interest rates, and approval decisions are determined solely by the financing provider, not by Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros, and are subject to that provider’s own agreement with you. Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a scheduled estimate, evaluation, or installation appointment by contacting us using the information below. We ask for as much advance notice as possible so we can offer the appointment time to another customer. Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments without notice may affect our ability to offer future scheduling flexibility.

Warranty Disclaimer

Mini split equipment we install typically carries a manufacturer’s warranty covering parts and, in some cases, equipment replacement; specific manufacturer warranty terms and registration requirements will be provided to you at the time of installation. Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros separately stands behind the quality of our installation workmanship; specific workmanship warranty terms and duration for your project will be stated in your written estimate or invoice. Except as expressly stated in your written estimate, invoice, or an applicable manufacturer warranty, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros’ total liability arising out of or related to the Site or our services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or loss of use, arising from your use of the Site or our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under Virginia law, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Website Use

The Site is provided for general informational purposes about our services and service area, and to let you request an estimate or contact us. Content on the Site — including descriptions of mini split systems, applications, and benefits — is general information only and does not guarantee results, energy savings, or suitability for any specific property; every home is different, and a site evaluation is required before a specific recommendation or firm price can be provided. Nothing on the Site constitutes professional engineering, electrical, or legal advice.

SMS Messaging Terms

If you provide your mobile phone number and opt in to text messaging, customers who opt in may receive:

  • Appointment reminders;
  • Estimate confirmations;
  • Customer support messages; and
  • Service updates.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. For more detail on how we handle mobile information, see our Privacy Policy.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian, to opt in to receive SMS communications from Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros.

Email Communications

We may email you, using our Google Workspace-hosted business email, about your estimate request, scheduled appointments, service updates, and administrative matters related to your project. If you have opted in to marketing email, you may also receive occasional promotional offers or company updates, and you can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link included in the message or by contacting us directly.

Appointment Reminders

As a courtesy, we may send reminders about upcoming estimates, evaluations, or installation appointments by phone call, email, or text message (if you have opted in to SMS), consistent with the “SMS Messaging Terms” and “Email Communications” sections above.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros name and branding — are owned by Blue Ridge Mini Split Pros or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages of the Site for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute Site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

Governing Law (Virginia)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
